A lot of people ask why are x-rays necessary?

Under the ADA guidelines we have to take x-rays on every patient at least every 2 years. Due to potential liability if any conditions go undiagnosed. Our number one priority is protecting your well being and treating every issue accordingly. X-rays, also known as radiographs, allow your dentist to see between and inside your teeth. Dental x-rays are important because they give your dentist the whole picture. They help dentists see the condition of your teeth not visibile to the eye, as well as the roots, jaw placement, and facial bone composition. They help your dentist find and treat dental problems before they become too advanced.

If you have any further questions regarding x-rays please feel free to contact us directly, we'd be happy to help.

Please note our Saturday appointments tend to fill up very quickly due to high demand. We're only in the office one Saturday a month September-June. Typically it is the first Saturday of the month unless a holiday coincides with such day. Saturday appointments are subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee if the appointment is cancelled without 24 hour advanced notice. As of 9/1/2021 the cancellation of a Saturday appointment within 48 hours two or more times will be put on notice to a "No Saturday" list. Please keep that in mind when scheduling. We're so sorry for the inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding.
